Phantom Limbo presents: DEAD LABOUR PROCESS (UK)
Dead labour process is the solo project of Euan Currie, from Edinburgh, Scotland. Utilising tape recordings from a variety of sources, as well as free babble, cut up texts and found objects, he creates a dense mist of looping textures and shifting pulses. Dead Labour Process has released many CDrs and cassettes on labels such as Giant Tank, Scumbag Relations, Poot Records, as well as an upcoming release on Chocolate Monk. Euan also plays in the bands Muscletusk and Brittle Hammer Trio, with Ali Robertson and Fritz Welch, as well as a number of one-off collaborations, and also runs the experimental record label Unverified Records, which has released many underground artists such as Phil Minton, Fordell Research Unit and Smear Campaign.
